NVQ Scandal affects 600

600 National Vocational Qualifications issued to students by Bradford Councils Training section may be invalidated by the awarding body.

Already all 42 NVQ's issued by the Councils Business Administration Training Centre at Metrochange House have been invalidated following allegations of malpractice. A further 82 current students will have to completely redo their programs.

The Qualifications and Curriculum Authority, whose investigation led to the rejection of the NVQ's, has now spread its inquiries to cover all the Councils training centres. KDIS understands that 600 qualifications could be scrapped.

The Council has launched its own investigation into the debacle amid allegations of a cover up.
