Update 07/07/2011:
"...went to the allotment on Monday - first time for a while. Found
everything desperate for water and mostly being swamped by weeds.
Gooseberries are ripe now, I picked a load and have turned some into
jam. Worcesterberries are nearly ripe. Raspberries mostly gone - bushes
had recently been stripped. I am planning to go back this* Saturday
morning and pick some fruit etc to take to the club. The allotment
association are also having another clear up day then."
