The 1in12 Cafe opens from 12.00 on Saturdays for cheap vegan food, decent tea and coffee, access to the library and internet facilities, and for general socialising.

Sometime the opening will be a themed fund raiser (Prisoner support, animal rights, support for the unemployed etc.) other times there'll just be some volunteers dishing up tasty grub for its own sake.

Prisoner Support Cafe takes place (usually) on the first Saturday of each month - there'll be literature concerning some of the people being supported, writing paper and advice on writing to prisoners, and possible a film on any related issues or campaigns .

If you'd like to get involved in the cafe collective just turn up at a few Sunday meetings so you can find out what the club's about, come along to some Saturday openings to meet the current volunteers, and arrange some induction for yourself so you don't burn the building down and/or poison everyone.
